Our Story

Jeanette Branch, also known as JJ Branch has worked in the film industry for over 15 years.  This hardworking Producer, Writer and Actor has worked on popular shows and with top networks including HBO, Netflix, Starz, TNT, and more.   

Jeanette is known for writing projects with strong female leads, that’s mostly because she is one. Jeanette is a 2 x’s SAG AWARD Nominee for her work as a Professional Stuntwoman.  She has performed stunts on notable franchise films including Marvel’s Captain America, The Fast and Furious, and The Hunger Games Franchises. She has been the stunt double for Niecy Nash for over a decade performing on CLAWS, THE ROOKIE FEDS and more. She has also performed stunts for Mindy Kaling, Angela Bassett, and others. Jeanette along with Niecy Nash-Betts were presenters at the 2022 Emmy Awards for the stunt category. She is a member of the voting committee for the NAACP IMAGE AWARDS and a member of New York Women In Film and Television organization where she once served as ambassador.

As an actress she has recurred on Starz: “Ghost” and on TNT “Claws”. Recently she joined the LifeTime network for their top-rated movie "Black and Missing" which is currently nominated for a NAACP AWARD.

Her commitment as a filmmaker is to create inspiring films and documentaries., telling the stories of those often not heard.
